The family of #KeenanAnderson continues to grieve and fight after their loved one was murdered after LAPD tasered him 6 times in about 40 seconds. Keenan was seeking help after an auto accident and it ended in his death. This is unacceptable. Keenan was a beloved father, teacher, mentor, brother, cousin, and fiancé. Let’s honor his life with tangible action- let us not only say his name, but move our feet. This is one small, quick action that is so incredibly important. Sign the petition to support the demands of his family and BLMLA, go to tinyurl.com/SignForKeenan. In the wake of this tragedy, this is the very least that can be done and we will work to ensure it. #BlackLivesMatter

Honoring Assata Olugbala Shakur
The United States government cornered her, framed her, caged her, made her a fugitive, then

our grandfathers.

The occupation of Washington, DC by militarized troops at the behest of a racist, fascist Trump regime is the full-on declaration of war on Black people in America. While some “Black faces in high places” are complicit, becoming proxies for the colonizer, it is ultimately the power of the people that will defeat the oppressor. In DC, this is the long-held work of the #FreeDC movement and Black Washingtonians who have always resisted, never submitting to their own oppression.
