A dedicated lifelong Democrat, Bell has mobilized on behalf of organizations from the Black Panther Party to Black Lives Matter…From the NAACP to the Black Women’s Forum…From Ceasefire Committee to her beloved Faith United Methodist Church. She has volunteered for campaigns including Presidents Obama and Biden and Hub City politicians like Omar Bradley. She befriended and chronicled the great activist/comedian Dick Gregory along with a host of other celebrities and movers and shakers. But most of all Mollie Bell was an early and avid activist for reparations. Teaming up with her dear friend L.A. Reparations icon Mr. Peeples, Mollie Bell did groundbreaking work to promote and educate around reparations for “descendants of Black Africans” (or DOBAS – a term coined by that cohort of reparations advocates from the 1990’s).
Mollie Bell worked at the US Post Office for decades. She is a radio favorite with appearances on The Front Page, Carl Nelson, First Things First with Dominique DiPrima and many others. Even if you don’t know Mollie Bell by name, surely you have heard her famous closing salutation “…Reparations in memory of our ancestors and always…To God be the glory.”
Mollie Bell is retired now from her union job. But she is still going strong for the people, for her family, especially her beloved brother who died in the Vietnam War. Mollie Bell stands for justice and always, for reparations. Long Live the

Black Lives Matter Grassroots Condemns the Unjust Conviction and Sentence for Karmelo Anthony “The system is guilty. Karmelo is not.”
Karmelo, who was just 17 years-old at the time of the incident, was never the aggressor. A child of impeccable character, a multi-sport athlete, an A student, and the captain of his football team, Karmelo should have been protected when he was being bullied. Instead, he was forced to defend himself, then criminalized, arrested, prosecuted, convicted, immediately remanded into the custody of the Collin County Sheriff, and sentenced to 35 years in prison. The state plans to cage him, stomp out his infinite potential, and deprive the world of his light until he is 54 years-old.
