FREE! Jerry "JAY" BURTON (Brother Ajamu)

July 17, 1989 Jerry Burton,#E85733, a Los Angeles native was a 16 year old juvenile, when he was arrested by the Los Angeles Police. Jerry was on the scene when three of his friends burglarized a car for some speakers.

Jerry was arrested and detained in the juvenile halls up until September 28, 1989. When he was subsequently taken to the L.A. county jail where he remained for several months without seeing a judge.

Jerry was held in jail for a murder he has yet some 31 years later..been booked, arraigned, or charged with; but convicted of. This may sound bizarre and not likely, but Google the L.A. Lynwood Sheriff’s  police gang known as the “Vikings.” Or better yet watch the Netflix series “Innocent Files.” Exoneree, Franky Carrillo’s story is Jerry’s story.

The prosecutor’s jailhouse informant recanted. No one identified him. However, the prosecutor said that his “left ring” fingerprint was found on the gun; despite the gun never been proven to be the murder weapon. Overall, this print was used to convict an innocent boy. For 32 years and counting, the Sheriff’s and D.A. office has continuously denied Jerry access to this exculpatory fingerprint.

Please help shed light on this injustice. And demand his freedom.
